Stephen Roche is a Sport and Exercise Scientist (University of Limerick) and Chartered Physiotherapist (University College Cork) from Galway, Ireland. He has a broad range of experience as a physiotherapist in private practice and hospitals in Ireland including working with athletes ranging from new beginners in running and sport to high performing elite athletes. His interest for the health and fitness industry stems back to his roots playing hurling in Galway with his club, Galway intercounty squads and Fitzgibbon Cup teams in UL and UCC. Stephen is the Co-Founder of The Fit Physios- an Online Physiotherapy and Coaching service. The Fit Physios help runners find their path through evidence based advice, education, load management and exercise. He is passionate about finding the balance between pushing the boundaries of training to improve performance without pushing too hard to the point of injury. He has extensive experience and interest in running injuries and enjoys working with people who are making their way back to full fitness. He has a depth of knowledge on performance and injury prevention programs for runners.
