Training For Missed Workouts

Duleek & District Athletic Club are proud to host the Third Duleek 10K Road Race & Family Fun Run (Approved by AAI), August 16th 2015, 11am.

Walkers, joggers and competitive runners all welcome in what can only be described as a hugely welcoming community 10K. Once again, the 10K is a timing-chipped race with Precision Timing.

The course is perfect for beginners and experienced runners alike. The race organisers have pacers who will help guide people to their perfect time. Pacers have been used to great success in the past and

The race itself takes runners/joggers/walkers through the countryside of the Boyne Valley on a memorable, beautifully scenic meandering route which is basically flat, with some gentle undulations. The route is perfect for beginners, and more seasoned runners can expect to challenge their ‘personal bests’ (PB’s!!).

A well-stocked ‘goody-bag’ will be presented to each runner on completion of the race.
