Scamper Against Cancer a Huge Success

This event last Sunday October 11th attracted a massive crowd of 1,200 people who walked and ran the 3k & 5k distance in support of local hero young  Seán Doran who started the 5k race and met everyone and took photos with countless well wishers. It was great to see such an outpouring of community spirit and the atmosphere was electric well done to everyone and thanks to all who made it happen.

FIT4LIFE

 On Wednesdays we will be Fit4lifing in the field with our new floodlights come walk jog or run a few laps the outside lap is 400m & the inside 350m bring a friend set a goal in a fun environment Meeting Point is at the Moycarkey Community Sports Centre in Littleton. JUVENILE CROSS COUNTRY TRAINING

Juvenile Cross Country Training for all age groups continues every Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8pm at our new field beside the Moycarkey Borris Community & Sports Centre. We have two lanes marked out, one for the younger age group & the second one for our older athletes. Parents are welcome to walk or jog the route themselves during training if they so wish. Cost is 2 euro per child.

Clothing Collection

Our next clothing collection is on November 6th & 7th  if you have any clothes you no longer need get collecting now much appreciated.

County Interm Cross Country This Sunday

The County Intermediate & Uneven age cross country takes place this Sunday October 18th at the Turnpike on the Middlepiece grounds thanks to Donal Hayes & Family. We will need a hand to set up course on Saturday morning if anyone can give a hand or on Sunday help with the car park and directing traffic. We hope everyone enjoys the day on Sunday,  it would be great if we could get as many people running in the red and black stripes as possible best of luck to all our Juvenile & Senior athletes running.

  Wed 14th – GloHealth Munster Schools Combined Events Championships in Nenagh Indoor Stadium at 11am.

  Sun 18th – County Juvenile Uneven Age & Intermediate Cross Country Championship in the Turnpike, Two Mile Borris.
