Moyne AC – Club Notes Oct 19th

What a day Sunday turned out to be for our ladies who captured the County Intermediate Team Championship, the first time since the formation of the AAI.  Such was the closeness of the competition that just one point separated the top two with the club coming out on top.  Well done to all involved on a terrific performance.  Lorraine Healy had a fantastic run to finish fourth overall and had the back-up of Angela Fogarty and Katie Harrison who finished 7^th and 8^threspectively to hold off the challenge of Clonmel and Moreabbey Milers.  Bridget Gleeson, Sharon Cantwell and Liz Power also played a vital part in this victory but at time of going to press no details of their placings were available.  Our men were also out in force with Liam Kelly and Stephen Flanagan mixing it with the best to finish 10^th and 12^threspectively and with Paddy Doyle, Patrick Bowe and Ray Power also in the mix and again apologies as places were not available, the club are making great strides in these competitions and success cannot be too far away.
