Today we had our 11th parkrun and we have yet to experience rain during an Athlone parkrun. This must be a record in itself!
We had 40 participants this week, the biggest week to date. We hope Athlone parkrun continues to grow and we meet new faces each week.
We also had a photographer from the Athlone Advertiser join us this week to take a few snaps so keep an eye out for your beautiful mug in the paper this week 
Also, for all of you who forget your barcode or have difficulties scanning because it was in your sock, have you considered a parkrun wristband? I’ve just ordered mine and look forward to no having to print them out anymore! Check it out here:
