55 runners, joggers and walkers joined us on Saturday in dry and sunny conditions. Nine of them were rewarded with a new PB for their efforts. Well done to Oran McBriarty, Donobhán Quinn, Catherine Lynch, Samantha Mahon, Michael Lowe, Margaret McLafferty, Sally McDaid, Joe Coyle and Mary McCracken.
Saturday’s first three finishers were visitors, Brian Stakelum first in 18:17 with Lorcan Mcguinness and Mark Challis second and third. Teresa O Connor led the ladies home in 22:57, with Sheena Ali and Grainne Patton next to cross the line.
No one reached a personal milestone this week. Here’s hoping we’ll host some next week.
We welcomed 16 visitors representing some 13 different clubs, including Ealing London, Warrenpoint, Hull, Derbyshire, Manchester and Bristol. That’s a long way to come for a parkrun! Hope you enjoyed your time at Buncrana today and the rest of your stay in Donegal.
