Fethard AC Honored with Cathaoirelach Award at Carrick-On-Suir County Council District Awards
Fethard AC was recently nominated for the Cathaoirelach Award at the Carrick-On-Suir County Council District Awards, held at Comeragh College. The event, hosted by Ballywire Media, celebrated the achievements of various community organizations. Fethard AC, along with other nominees like Carrick On Suir Developmental Association and Ballingarry Community Cafe, was recognized for its significant contributions to the local municipality and community.

The Carrick On Suir County Council district awards were held on the 8th May, in The Comeragh College, Carrick-On-Suir.
We are very proud that Fethard AC has been nominated for the Cathaoirelach Award to recognise the achievements of the organisation.
Fethard AC was nominated by Cllr. Kevin O’Meara who nominated Fethard A.C. for our contribution to the municipal district and the community.
The Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Kieran Bourke and the Members of Carrick on Suir Municipal District were delighted to welcome all the nominees from within the District to a reception held in the wonderful Comeragh College.
Paul Collins from Ballywire Media was the MC for the evening, he put everyone at ease, showing video footage throughout the evening highlighting the many success of each of the nominees.
Presenting the representatives with their awards, the Elected Members paid tribute to all of the attendees - whom they considered all to be winners - cognisant of their commitment, dedication and enthusiasm in striving to improve their home environment and aesthetic. It was their great pleasure to present certificates and awards to the recipients.
