County Bs Cross Country Results
Another great day of running was had today in Galbally at the County Bs and Tipp Relay Cross Country Trials . Kaitlyn Flanagan & Ciara Corcoran were 3rd & 10th in the Girls U9, In the Boys U9 James Danagher was 18th. In the Girls U11 Shauna Flanagan came 4th. In the Boys U11 Ronan O’Dwyer was 10th & in the Boys U13 Oisín Martin was 4th and Cathal Corcoran was 7th great results by all many of whom are running out of their age. Also on the day were the Trials for the Tipperary Cross Country Relay team with 3 of our athletes who entered qualifying – Twin sisters Caitlin and Ciara Shelly made the girls U10 Tipp team in 3rd & 4th place and Adam O’Dwyer made the Boys U14 Tipp team with a 3rd place finish Well done to all.
Dublin Night Run 10k
Well done to Laurenz Egan who ran the Run in the Dark 10k in Dublin on Wednesday Night November 11th in a time of 50mins 27seconds in aid of the Mark Pollock Trust which helps to find a cure for Spinal Paralysis. The Run was held in several cities across the world at the same time.Good to Laurenz back running in the red and black singlet having being out with injury for a while.
Fit4life
Continues each Wednesday at 7:30pm in the field and every Saturday morning on the road over a 5k distance at 9am The Moycarkey Borris community centre in Littleton is the venue for both sessions All levels welcome.
Juvenile Cross Country Training
Continues at the same times Tuesday and Thursdays 7pm-8pm at the field beside the community centre in Littleton As the weather deteriorates we would ask everyone to dress accordingly and bring a jacket cap etc.
Whist Drive December 1st
Our annual Whist Drive Cards evening will be coming up on Tuesday December 1st in the Pouldine School Hall it should be a great night with tea and refreshments served all welcome.
