Ballycastle to Waterfoot Trail Marathon

The Ballycastle to Waterfoot is a point-to-point run trail marathon on 22 August 2026 in Antrim.

Starting in Ballycastle, this is a spectacular and challenging course along some fantastic trails that will take you right up through Ballycastle Forest, Slieveanorra, Trostan and Glenariff forest before heading down to finish at Waterfoot. This course is approximately 90% trail with a cut off time of 8 hours.

Entrants will be transported by bus from the finish line at Waterford to the start line at Ballycastle.

There will be no marshals or signage along the route and entrants will be supplied with a full GPX file of the route to download. This is a self sufficient event with 1 water refill stop along the way (you must carry your own refillable water bottles).
