Greenway Half Marathon

The annual Greenway Half Marathon on 29 August 2026 is a 13.1 mile race along the old Waterford/Dungarvan railway line.
The course is one of the flattest routes for a half marathon in the country with a net elevation of -100 metres. This scenic point to point race starts at the Coachhouse in Kilmacthomas and finishes near Ballinroad, Dungarvan.
The event is hosted by the West Waterford Athletic Club, in conjunction with Waterford City and County Council.
