Join us for the Slievenamon Mountain Race in Kilcash village, with an 8.04 km route and 580 meters of ascent. This challenging race will take you to the summit of Slievenamon, offering fantastic views and tough terrain!

Charged mobile phone with emergency number stored

Foil blanket, bivvy bag, or equivalent

The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day depending on weather conditions.

Failure to carry mandatory kit will result in disqualification.

📍 Route Description:

Start/Finish: Kilcash village

The race starts from Kilcash village and follows the road through the village before turning onto a mountain trail.

After passing two gates and the Holy Cross, continue up to the cairn at the summit of Slievenamon.

After reaching the summit, you will descend the same route back to the village.

A shorter junior race route will also be available.

The event car park is located in Kilcash village, which is situated just off the Kilkenny/Clonmel road (N76).

The car park will be signposted and stewarded on the way into the village.

🎉 Prizegiving Location:

Prizegiving will be held in Kilcash Village after the race.
