The Coast Half Marathon

The Coast Half Marathon & 10K race on 17 May 2025 is set against the backdrop of the breathtaking Mourne Mountains in County Down.

Starting and finishing in the charming coastal village of Killough, both courses are on stunning out-and-back routes.

10km runners head on a peaceful country road towards Rossglass before retracing their steps back to Killough. Half Marathon runners continue along the stunning coastline, following a route that leads to the turn around point at iconic St. John’s Point Lighthouse. Runners then make their way back towards Rossglass before joining the scenic main road towards Tyrella. This breathtaking stretch hugs the coastline, offering sweeping views of Minerstown Beach and the Mourne Mountains. Just before Tyrella Beach, runners make a U-turn and follow the stunning route back to the finish line in Killough village.
