On Sunday, Michael Doyle was the first on the track in the boys u15 race walk. The ever consistent Michael who is growing in confidence with every outing overtaking the opposition and had a 13 second winning margain when crossing the finish in 5m55., winning convincingly in 5.55.36s, the recent expierence gained when competing at The English Walk championships in Sheffield is paying off handsomenly. Michael's performance was seven seconds faster than the county championships and adding to his growing collection of Munster medals with another gold, he has now qualified for the National Indoor Finals in a few weeks time.
