The Mourne Way Marathon events on 26 June 2027 take in some of the best scenery and trail running that Ireland has to offer.
The event includes a full Marathon, 84km Ultra-Trail, Half Marathon. Courses follow the stunning Mourne Way through rugged mountain terrain, forest trails and spectacular scenery.
In 2027, the routes are running in the opposite direction from previous events, giving participants a completely different experience of this iconic trail.
The Ultra and Marathon routes both start in Newcastle. The Ultra route turns around at Rostrevor before returning to Newcastle. The Marathon turnaround point and the Half Marathon start line is Fofanny Car Park.
