Run as far as you can — or as far as you want — in 6 hours on the scenic trails of Kippure Estate, Wicklow. The Trail Criú 6-Hour Challenge offers a 5km looped course with en-route support, toilets, and water available.
Start at 9:00am and finish at 3:00pm. Challenge yourself to complete a marathon or push on to an ultra distance. Your race, your pace!
Laps will be counted and recorded by Trail Criú event officials, and results will be posted on the Trail Criú website after the event.
By taking part, you’ll also be supporting the ongoing development of the Trail Criú club and community.
### Event Postponement Policy
As the Trail Criú 6 Hour Challenge takes place outdoors in February, the safety of our participants, volunteers and supporters is our priority.
The event may need to be postponed in the event of severe weather or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
*Weather Warning Policy:* If Met Éireann issues an *Orange or Red weather warning* applicable to the event location and timeframe, the event will be postponed. We may also postpone the event if conditions on the course are unsafe, even if no Orange or Red weather warning has been issued.
If postponement is necessary, the event will take place on *Sunday, 21 February 2027, instead of the original date of **Sunday, 7 February 2027*.
Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date. Unfortunately, as this is a fundraising event, if you are unable to attend on the alternative date, refunds will not be available.
We know how much time and training goes into preparing for an event, and we really appreciate your understanding. Our priority is to make sure everyone can take part as safely as possible. Thank you for being part of the Trail Criú community!
