The US collegiate cross country season moves into October this weekend, with Irish athletes heading to Pennsylvania for the Paul Short Run on today.
With September's opening races behind them, the meeting offers another opportunity to build race experience as the autumn campaign progresses. Irish entries are spread across three races at Lehigh University's Goodman Campus in Bethlehem.
Paul Short Run
Matthew O'Shea is the first of the three Irish entrants due in action. The Drogheda & District AC athlete is listed for the University of Charleston in West Virginia in the open men's 8km.
O'Shea's race gets under way at 2:30pm Irish time, beginning an afternoon and evening oemmf Irish interest at the meeting.

Emmy Thornton represents Dartmouth College in the women's College Gold 6km, scheduled for 4:45pm Irish time.
The Willowfield Harriers athlete has already raced twice this autumn. She was Dartmouth's first finisher at the Friar Invitational on September 4th, placing 27th over 4km in 14:58.7. She then finished 46th in 22:42.7 over 6km at the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational on September 19th.
Friday brings another outing over 6km as Thornton continues her campaign with the Big Green.
Women's College Gold 6km Start List and Live Results
Kate Connolly completes the confirmed Irish entries in the women's College Brown 6km at 7:45pm Irish time.
The St Michael's AC athlete represents Wagner College and comes into the meeting after contributing to the university's second place at the LIU Fall Festival on Friday September 18th.
Connolly clocked 24:50.80 over 6km as Wagner's fifth scorer, helping the Seahawks finish with 46 points. She will be looking to contribute again as Wagner takes on the Brown race in Bethlehem.
