How to Watch Irish Athletes on Day 1 of the World Indoors

After weeks of anticipation, the World Indoor Athletics Championships finally get underway this morning in Toruń, Poland.

There are six Irish athletes in action across a busy opening day, with representation in the 60 metres, 800 metres, and 1500 metres. Below is your full guide to when and where to watch all of the Irish in action across both the morning and evening sessions.

🇮🇪 Morning Session

⏰ 9:34 AM – 🏃🏿 Bori Akinola (UCD AC) – Men’s 60m, Heat 3
⏰ 11:59 AM – 🏃‍♀️ Maeve O’Neill (Doheny AC / Providence) – Women’s 800m, Heat 4
⏰ 12:13 PM – 🏃‍♀️ Emma Moore (Galway City Harriers) – Women’s 800m, Heat 6
⏰ 12:42 PM – 🏃🏼 Mark English (Finn Valley AC) – Men’s 800m, Heat 4

🇮🇪 Evening Session

⏰ 6:04 PM – 🏃🏼 James Gormley (Carmen Runners) – Men’s 1500m
⏰ 7:16 PM – 🏃🏿Bori Akinola (UCD AC) – Men’s 60m Semi-Final*
⏰ 8:22 PM – 🏃🏿 Bori Akinola (UCD AC) – Men’s 60m Final*
