The wait is almost over as the 72nd edition of Cork City Sports gets underway this evening at the MTU Athletics Stadium, with another memorable night of athletics expected on Leeside. Warm conditions are forecast throughout the evening, setting the stage for a packed programme featuring many of Ireland's leading athletes alongside international competitors from more than 30 countries.
