How to Watch Irish Athletes In This Evening's Golden Spike

Five Irish athletes are set to compete at the prestigious Golden Spike meeting in Ostrava, Czech Republic, on Tuesday evening, with opportunities for qualification standards, ranking points, and valuable championship preparation on offer.

National sprint record holder Bori Akinola takes on the men's 100 metres, Sharlene Mawdsley contests the women's 400 metres, Emma Moore lines up in the women's 800 metres, Nick Griggs races the mile, and Mark English returns to action in the men's 1000 metres.

Benjamin Richardson, who recently switched his affiliation to Ireland is now on the startlist for much anticipated men's 150 metres featuring Australian teenage sensation Gout Gout and American sprint star Noah Lyles, who will be chasing the world best over the rarely contested distance.
