Two Irish internationals will be in action in Belgium on Wednesday evening as Eimear Maher and Rachel McCann continue their summer campaigns at the Meeting International d'Athlétisme de la Province de Liège.
McCann lines up in the women's 400 metres after another encouraging season that has seen the Irish international continue to build on her breakthrough year. The World Relays representative produced an indoor personal best of 52.89 earlier this year before carrying that form outdoors, where she has already clocked a season's best of 53.15. Last year's Irish outdoor 400m bronze medallist will be aiming to edge closer to another personal best against a competitive international field.
