Steeplechase National Champion Abbie Sheridan Returns to Action in Barcelona this Evening

Abbie Sheridan has enjoyed an encouraging 2026 outdoor season so far. The reigning Irish 3,000m steeplechase champion opened her campaign with victory in the 1500m at the Irish Milers Club meeting in Clonmel before making an appearance at the Belfast Classic, again over the flat.

Since the latter half of May, her focus has turned back to the 3,000m steeplechase, where she has raced three times, most recently clocking a personal best of 9:43.69 to finish sixth at the Copenhagen Athletics Games.

She's back in action tonight in Barcelona, with all the details on how to follow the race below.
