Achill Half Marathon

The Achill Half Marathon & 10K event takes place annually on the first Saturday of July on Achill Island, Co. Mayo, on the west coast of Ireland. One of Ireland's most scenic destinations, Achill offers hills, winds, and sometimes a bit of rain to challenge runners and walkers on a circular half-marathon (13.1 miles / 21km) or 10K route. The event starts and finishes in the village of Keel, next to the Blue Flag beach. Places are limited - the 2023 event had 1450 entrants
