Bere Island Midsummer Run 5K

The route of this run is one of the most stunning 5k loops, two loops for the 10k.
The loop is called after local man John Walsh who was instramental in the setting up of the Bere Island Parkrun.
The route takes runners around the eastern end of Bere Island with stunning views over Lonehart Harbour, Bantry Bay, Berehaven all under the watchful eye of Hungry Hill. The last kilometer brings you back to Lawrence Cove and Rerrin Village before returning to the GAA Club.
