Castle to Castle Run 52.4 miles Ultra

The Castle to Castle Run on 12 April 2025 includes an Ultra Marathon and Marathon in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

The Ultra starts at Carrickfergus Castle and runs to Belfast Castle then back on the same route to finish at Carrickfergus Castle, one of the oldest Castles in Ireland. The Marathon is a point-to-point route starting at Belfast Castle and finishing at Carrickfergus Castle.

Both courses are challenging on a full mix of terrain including, trail, footpaths, road and forest paths.

This is a self-sufficient and self-navigated race. Entrants are provided with full GPX details of the route closer to the event. There will be no extra signage or marshals on the course, you will follow the route using a GPS file on your watch or phone and a tracker is provided so your friends can follow your progress.
