The annual Cork Echo Women's Mini Marathon on 21 September 2025 is a 5km (3.1 mile) road race organised and hosted by Cork Athletics.
The course starts on Centre Park Road and continues down the Marina and around Blackrock Pier, through Ballintemple and turns right at Maryville and passes Páirc Uí Chaoimh and straight down Monahan Road, finishing at Kennedy Park.
This is the biggest event of its kind in Munster. Whether you are a seasoned runner, on a fitness mission, or are joining friends to enjoy the walk, the Mini Marathon is suitable for everyone, with women choosing to run or walk depending on their fitness level.
Each year, several hundred thousand euro is raised for local, national and international charities and organisations.
