Dromana 5 Mile

30th ANNUAL DUNGARVAN LEADER DROMANA 5.

Next race up is the Dungarvan Leader Dromana 5 Mile from the beautiful village of Villierstown to the cornerstone town of Cappoquin.

This race retraces the steps of Waterford’s own world champion and Olympic silver medalist John Treacy when he used to run from his home to school as a teenager. Please note this is a point to point race starting in Villiarstown and finishing in Cappoquin.

A bus will leave Cappoquin G.A.A. pitch at 6.30 sharp to arrive in Villierstown before 7. Number collection will be in the Community Hall in Villierstown from 6.30pm onwards.Race start 7.30 pm.

Refreshments and presentation of prizes will be in the hall beside the snooker club just accross the road from the finish line.
