🎽 Mandatory Kit:

Waterproof jacket

Hat or buff

Gloves

Whistle

Charged mobile phone with emergency number stored

Foil blanket, bivvy bag, or equivalent

The actual kit to be carried will be finalized on the day depending on conditions.

Failure to carry the required kit may result in disqualification.

📍 Getting There:

Start Location: Coonogue Crossroads/Lane, Wexford

Directions:

From Ballymurphy (R702) or Kiltealy (R702), follow IMRA signs to Coonogue Crossroads.

The race starts from the layby on Coonogue's Lane/Road.

🚗 Parking:

Park in the small car park/layby just up from Coonogue Crossroads.

📜 Organisers Instructions:

Registration: From 10:00 AM at the car park/layby.

Race Start: 10:30 AM (Early Start) for those expecting to be over 160% of the winner's time.

Main Race Start: 11:00 AM

Course: The race follows the traditional hillwalkers’ route to the summit (733m) and back.

Important:

Bring a good jacket and be prepared for poor weather.

Ensure you have space blanket, whistle, and mobile phone.

Pre-registration is available online before 8th September or 10 Race Voucher cards for registration on the day (no cash taken).

🏆 Prizegiving Location:

Location: Hilltop Bar, Ballymurphy

Tea/coffee and toasted sandwiches available.

Prizegiving will take place immediately after the race.
