Take on the Djouce challenge from Djouce Woods! This 12.2 km course climbs 633 m through technical forest terrain, with a fully marked route. A 4.65 km junior/short course is available for younger or less experienced runners.

All runners must carry the above items. Final kit requirements confirmed on race day. Failure to carry kit may result in refusal of entry or disqualification. Random checks may occur.

📍 Route Description:
The course starts at the first “V” junction on the fire road at Djouce Woods and heads through forest trails to Djouce, with technical terrain throughout. Juniors/short course runners follow the main course to Paddock Ponds, veer into the woods, and return through forest to the finish (4.65 km, 135 m ascent).

🧒 Juniors:
Start 5 minutes after main race; fully marked short route.

⏱️ Early Start:
07:00 for runners likely 160%+ of winner’s time.

🚗 Getting There:

Long Hill Car Park, Djouce Woods

Car parking limited; follow marshals’ instructions.

Carpooling recommended; alternative car park at Berto’s, Kilmacanogue (~30 cars).

📝 Organisers Instructions:

Registration: 18:15–19:15 in Djouce Woods main car park

All runners must register; chips scanned pre-race

No headphones allowed for safety

Berto’s Pizzeria (formerly Plucks), open exclusively for IMRA runners until ~22:30 with pizza & chips available
