Kerry

Countdown to race day!

The Kerry Way Ultra is a trail running event from 5 to 6 September 2025 that follows the Kerry Way with spectacular mountain ranges, magnificent coastal views, lakes and moorlands.

The details on this page are based on the previous event and subject to change; we will update this listing as more information comes to hand.

The full 120 mile (200km) distance is a Killarney to Killarney loop course. This is a self-sufficient race so no food will be provided and there will be emergency water only at Support Crew Stops. The ultra can also be run in a relay of teams of three people, with at least one female member. The tracker and race number will be the baton and can only be exchanged at the changeover points at the Crew Stops.

As well as the full ultra, there is also the UltraNite (101km) run on the Friday night/Saturday morning starting at Dromid, Waterville and the UltraLite (58km) on Saturday which follows the Kerry Way route from Sneem to Killarney.
