Kilfinny Road Race 10K

Join us for our annual Kilfinny 2km & chipped 10km Road Race.  This exciting event will start at 10am for the 10km, followed by the 2km directly after on the 8th of March 2026 from Kilfinny National School.  Our fundraiser will feature two thrilling road races: a 2km fun run for beginners and families, and a more challenging 10km race for seasoned runners. 

All funds raised during this event will go directly towards an upgrade to the school yards to include playground markings, horizontal climbing walls and upgrades to the pupil toilets. These projects will benefit all children and enhance the school grounds. Your participation and donations will make a significant impact on our primary school community, helping us create a nurturing environment where our children can thrive.

Event Highlights

Purchase your ticket before the 31st January and be in with the chance of winning either a signed Limerick jersey or a signed Munster jersey.

Medals for All Finishers: Celebrate your achievement with a medal presented at the finish line.

Timing and Results: Enjoy accurate race timing for the 10km race provided by Just Race. 

What You Need to Know

Start Time: 10km race starts are 10am with the 2km following straight after.

Parking: Ample parking will be available at various locations, please follow directions from stewards. 

Race Pack Collection:

Saturday 7th March from the Community Hall in Kilfinny between 10 - 12pm and 4 - 5pm

Race Day from the School Hall from 8am.

Hydration Stations: Stations will be available along the 10km route and at the finish line.
