Lough Cutra Castle Marathon Half marathon
The Lough Cutra Castle Marathon in Gort on 24 May 2026 also includes a 10km and half-marathon distance within the beautiful grounds of the Castle and surrounding area of stunning South Galway.
The running events form part of the Lough Cutra Multisport Festival weekend and is part of the Castle Run Series.
Runners enjoy the fabulous private estate at Lough Cutra Castle providing runners of all abilities with the opportunity to enjoy an off-road, scenic and stunning course. Competitors in the Half Marathon and Marathon undertake laps of the spectator friendly 7km estate loop. The 10K runners complete 2 laps of a 5K circuit.
