Mourne Seven Sevens Challenge Walk 29K

Mourne Seven Sevens Challenge Walk on 9 August 2025 is an 18 mile, 8100ft test of endurance and mountain skills.

The objective of the event is to climb all seven peaks in the Mourne Mountains that are over 700m above sea level following your own route between fixed checkpoints.

This event is a challenge walk only. It’s not a race and there are no prizes. This challenge walk is not guided or way-marked along the route. Navigational skills will be required, especially if weather conditions are poor so participants must have the ability and experience to use both map and compass.

It is organised in conjunction with the NIMRA mountain race held on the same day over the same course.
