New Years Day Run 5K

New Year’s Day 5K Run/Walk & 10K Road Race – Emyvale

1st January 2026 | 11:00am Start | In Aid of Errigal Truagh Special Needs & Glaslough Harriers Development Fund

Start 2026 on the right foot by joining us in Emyvale for our New Year’s Day Run! This uplifting community event features two great options:

• 5K Run/Walk – A relaxed, family-friendly route suitable for all ages and abilities. The perfect way to kick off the year with friends, family, and a bit of fresh air.

• 10K Road Race – A more competitive, accurately measured road race with chip timing for all 10K participants. Ideal for runners chasing a PB or testing early-season fitness.

Both events will start and finish at the Glaslough Harriers Track, with registration taking place in Emyvale Leisure Centre from 9:30am.

This year’s run proudly supports Errigal Truagh Special Needs and the Glaslough Harriers Development Fund, helping us continue to grow and improve facilities for our community. We are also delighted to have the support of The Irish Yank Foundation, who are assisting with the organisation of this event.
