The Bog Run Castlewellan 5k

The Bog Run Castlewellan on 12 October 2025 in Co. Down, is a 5km untimed run for fun in support of children and young people impacted by cancer across the island of Ireland.
The event planned for has been postponed to the new date of 12 October 2025.
The event offers 2 courses; a senior course for those 12 years + (12-17 year olds require an accompanying adult) and a junior course (open to 8-14 year olds with accompanying adult).
You will climb over fallen trees, crawl through bushes, get muddy, and take on the lough all whilst having amazing craic and challenging yourself for a good cause.
This is a run for fun so is open to people of all fitness levels and you can go at your own pace.
The event raises funds for the Cancer Fund for Children.
