All Races Taking Place Across Ireland In April 2026

Hello again! April has landed, and if March felt busy, this is where things properly go into overdrive. The spring calendar is now in full swing and there is no easing your way into it anymore. From early April right through to the end of the month, it is wall to wall racing across every province, with road races, trail events, ultras, and everything in between.

This is the month where plans get tested. Marathon blocks are deep enough now that the legs are carrying a bit of weight, club leagues are kicking off, and there is a steady stream of local races every week if you are looking for a tune up or just an excuse to get out the door. Some will be chasing times, some will be chasing medals, and plenty will just be trying to hold it together after a long winter.
