Day Two of EYOF – Three Irish Athletes in Action & How to Watch

Day Two of athletics at the 2025 European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) takes place today in Skopje, North Macedonia, with three rising Irish athletes lining out on the track this morning.
It comes after a fantastic opening day for Team Ireland yesterday. Ben Sykes bagged a bronze medal in the men’s 100m final, while Erin Friel progressed through the 400m heats to earn her spot in today’s final. Conor Penney also booked his place in the high jump final.
This morning, all eyes turn to Friel, who goes in the 400m final, while Lucie Cawley lines up in the 2000m steeplechase heats, and Ellis McHugh takes to the track for the 400m hurdles heats. Full Irish start times and livestream details below:
