Euro Youth Olympics Day 3 - Irish Athletes in Action & How to Watch

It’s Day Three of athletics at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Skopje, North Macedonia, and four Irish athletes are set to compete across track and field this morning with another very early start for Irish athletics fans hoping to follow the action.
It’s been a fantastic start to the Games for Team Ireland so far, with Erin Friel winning bronze in the 400m final yesterday, adding to the bronze medal from Ben Sykes in the 100m on Monday. With two medals already secured, the Irish team will be hoping to keep the momentum going today.
Matthew Newell and Conor Penney both go in finals, chasing medals in the 5km race walk and high jump respectively. Meanwhile, sprinters Molly Daly and Joe Burke begin their 200m campaigns, aiming to advance to Thursday’s semi-finals.
