How To Watch Irish Athletes in Tonight's Oslo Diamond League

Irish athletics fans have plenty to look forward to at tonight's prestigious Bislett Games in Oslo, with five Irish athletes set to compete on one of the most iconic stops on the Diamond League circuit.

Mark English will line up in a stacked men's 800m featuring some of the biggest names in world middle distance running. The Finn Valley AC athlete produced the second fastest race of his career in Rome last week, clocking 1:43.80 to finish just fractions behind France's Gabriel Tual. Earlier this season he became the first Irish male athlete to win a Diamond League event when he triumphed in Shanghai.

Andrew Coscoran, meanwhile, takes on the famous Dream Mile. The Star of the Sea AC athlete opened his outdoor Diamond League campaign with a strong 3:31.65 performance over 1500m in Rabat and will be hoping to continue that momentum against another world class field in Oslo.

Irish interest is not confined to the Diamond League programme. World Para Athletics champion Orla Comerford returns to the venue where she set a personal best of 11.87 seconds to win the para 100m twelve months ago. Fellow Irish international Lana Sutton will also take her place on the start line.

There is also a late addition to the Irish contingent, with Eimear Maher set to contest the non Diamond League women's 1500m. The 2025 European U23 bronze medallist receives a valuable opportunity to compete on one of the sport's biggest stages, lining up alongside a field featuring established international performers in front of the famous Bislett crowd.
