Sarah Lavin & James Gormley in Continental Action Tonight – How to Watch

Away from the European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje and the World University Games in Germany, two of Ireland’s senior international athletes are in action this evening on the European circuit.
James Gormley, who represented Ireland at the European Indoor Championships earlier this year, lines up in the 1500m final at the Motonet GP in Tampere, Finland, part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze level. He’ll be targeting a strong showing against a competitive international field.
Meanwhile, Sarah Lavin continues her busy season at the Raiffeisen Austrian Open in Eisenstadt, a Continental Tour Silver meet. Lavin has been in solid form this summer, having won the 100m hurdles at the European Team Championships and playing a key role in the women’s 4x100m Irish record run at the London Diamond League last weekend.
Start times and streaming details are below, though you’ll need a Finnish IP address (or to be in Finland) to watch Gormley’s race live.
