Tonight the Diamond League is back again, with Brian Fay lining up in the men’s 5000m in Lausanne. It’s only his second outing since losing his national crown to Andrew Coscoran in that thrilling 5000m final in Santry just over two weeks ago. He faces a loaded field, but it’s a chance to test himself against the very best and make a good accout for himself.

Speaking of Coscoran, he’s also on the start line tonight, racing the 1500m at the Internationales Abendsportfest in Germany. It’s his first race since becoming Irish champion, and he’ll be hoping to carry that momentum onto the continental circuit.

Meanwhile, the British Milers’ Club rolls into Tooting, with a stacked Irish entry once again. Sarah Healy is back on track, no rest for the wicked, dropping down to the 800m fresh off her Diamond League outing in Silesia at the weekend. She’s joined by fellow national champions Laura Nicholson and Alex O’Neill, both chasing strong marks, while Nick Griggs, James Gormley, Shane Bracken, Seán Donoghue, and Lughaidh Mallon all look to make their mark over 1500m. Amy O’Donoghue is also in action in the women’s 1500m A, with John Travers closing out the night in the 3000m.

Unfortunately, there’s no live stream available for Coscoran’s meet in Germany, but Fay’s race can be watched on Virgin Media or the BBC. The BMC action is also online, though it requires a paid RunnerSpace subscription ($12.99 for a month). As always, start lists are subject to change — an entry doesn’t guarantee they’ll line up
