What an incredible morning it turned out to be! Last Saturday, the annual Irish-Polish Friendship Parkrun took place at River Park Valley in Swords. The special occasion was organized by the Polish Runners Club Ireland, marking their annual gathering and a tradition where runners come together to celebrate the ties between the Polish and Irish communities.
But it wasn't just about the run, it was a celebration of friendship and community. Their dedicated club members and supporters spared no effort in ensuring that this event would be a success. After the run, the club organised festivities to take place. This included freshly brewed coffee and an array of homemade traditional Polish treats.
