DAVY’S FITTEST SUPERSTARS

Davy's Fittest Superstars was held on Saturday May 11th in Meath Eco Park, Co Meath.
Eco Park has stunning natural obstacles, and a number of challenging obstacles were also built, inspired by Ireland’s Fittest Family. Club member Darren Gayson took part with Stephen Flanagan, Ewan Bourke and Mike Nally making up their team. The team missed out on 1st play by 14 seconds. It was a beautiful sunny day to take on the challenging obstacles. The team had a great mix of speed and strength that allowed to fly the course. They had two small mishaps on the final parts with a tractor tire roll, taking a wrong turn due to lack of signage and they lost a few seconds on the 10ft wall.

It's fantastic to see club members take on different fitness challenges especially when their running helps contribute towards it. Darren has done plenty of different fitness challenges over the years including Redbull Conquer the Castle and Ultimate Hell Week which aired on RTE.
