England Athletics Walk Championships. Sheffield.
Michael Doyle will make his debut at the England Athletics Walk Championships in Sheffield next weekend, Michael is part of an Irish juvenile contingent travelling over to this event. Best of luck Michael and coach Seamie Hartigan. Further details next week.
National Indoor T&F League Round 2.
Unfortunately, the first round of the National Indoor T&F League was postponed due to the weather, but it is now rescheduled for Saturday the 8th of February in Athlone. Next Sunday the 19th of January sees round 2 taking place. Best of luck to the Moyne A.C. ladies' team that are taking part. A historic day for the history of the club to have a team taking part in this competition. Unless anyone picks up an injury during the coming week we have an athlete competing in all events Stay tuned for more updates during the week.
County U23 & Master XC Championships.
The final race of the 2024 XC calendar takes place next Sunday in Fethard. Best of luck to our U23 and master athletes that are taking part. A full race preview to follow during the week.
Juvenile Training.
Juvenile training returns this Monday and Thursday at 7.15pm. and Tuesday evening at 7:00pm after the poor conditions we had last week. The juveniles are working incredibly hard preparing for the indoor season. New members always welcome.
2025 AGM.
The club will host its annual AGM on Friday the 17th of January at 8pm in the club house. Any motions should be forwarded to club secretary Michelle Percy by Tuesday the 14th of January. We encourage club members and parents to attend. All are welcome.
