Outdoor Track Season: As the outdoor track & field season draws to a close We commend all our senior athletes who represented the club this year including Anna Ryan Triple Jump, Dillon Ryan Long Jump, David Ryan 400metres, Sean Mockler Hammer Throw and Daniel Ryan Long Jump. Well done to All.
Wedding Bells: Congrats to club member Paul Bowe on getting married last Saturday, September 19th to his partner Alison Lonergan Best Wishes to both from all in the club.
Charity Run: On September 2nd a Charity 6k & 8k run & walk will start & finish outside Semple Stadium Thurles taking the route via Seskin lane with the 6km starting @ 11am & the 8km starting @ 11:30am.
This is part of an all-day event which is to raise money for 2 very worthy charities – The Dillon Quirke Foundation and Cliona’s Foundation. Best of Luck to All taking part.
Best of Luck: The National Half Marathon road championships take place this Saturday Morning in Tullamore Co.Offaly @ 10am Best of Luck to our Mens team entered who hope to compete on the day.
Juvenile Training: Our Juvenile Cross Country Training will return soon at our club grounds in Littleton in September We will keep you posted when we have a date set.
Annual Church Gate Collection: Our Annual Church Gate collection for Moycarkey Coolcroo Athletic Club Will take place this weekend on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th August in Moycarkey, Two Mile Borris & Littleton Masses All donations are greatly appreciated as we continue to develop our club facilities in Littleton. Mass times are Saturday August 26th Moycarkey Mass @ 6:30pm, Mass in Littleton @ 7:30pm, Sunday August 27th Mass is in Two-Mile-Borris at 10:30am, Mass in Littleton @ 12pm.
