Super Well done to Lauren Casey who represented her club, parish and county with pride in the blue and gold singlet of Tipperary in the Girls U8s sprint finals at the National Community Games Finals in Carlow last Sunday August 24th 2025, A great experience for Lauren and a inspriation to our aspiring Juvenile members.

As you will see through recent posts, we're working towards creating an Olympic Standard Athletic Track at our club grounds in Littleton – a facility that will benefit the entire community, from young athletes and elite competitors to walkers, joggers, and individuals with disabilities. Clonmel Half Marathon Result:
The Boston Scientific Clonmel Marathon took place early last Sunday morning August 24th and attracting a large entry of 439 runners. First home for the club running well in 14th place overall in a good time of 1 hour 24 minutes & 4 seconds was Donie Bergin. Kevin Shortall was not far off too also inside the top 20 with a good run in 17th place in a time of 1hr 24mins & 53 secs. Liam Meaney ran his 2nd fastest time for the distance in 1:34:17 running well in 62nd place overall. Nikki Kennealy was our first lady from the club home with a very good run in 7th woman home & 83rd overall in a good time of 1:37:29. Christina Hayes also ran well as 25th woman home in the ladies section in fine time of 1:44.23.
Juvenile Training:
Juvenile Training is still on a break and will return for the Cross Country Season in September all going well. A date for our return will be posted to our social media pages and to our WhatsApp group when available to add your name to whatapp group please send request to Juvenile Chairperson Sean Cummins on 0879788145. We may need a hand in preparing the ground for our return to training, if you can help out in any it will be much appreciated. A Notice will be released in the coming weeks.
Adult Fit 4 Life Training:
Training continues every Monday at our club grounds in Littleton from 7:15pm to 8pm New members welome all levels catered for, Training inlcudes warm-up, drills, run off and on at different time zones, all carried out in an encouraging atmosphere.
Church Gate Collection:
Our Annual Church Gate Collections will take place this weekend On Saturday 30th in Moycarkey for Mass at 6:30pm and Sunday 31st of August for Mass in Two Mile Borris at 10:30am and Mass in Littleton at 12pm. We thank you in advance for all your support throughout the year as we approach the cross-country season. Monies raised will go towards our club track development in Littleton, Our Juvenile athletes and our current senior athletes who have had great success this year at County, Munster & recently at the National Track & Field Championships in Dublin.

Charleville International Half Marathon - Sunday, September 14, 2025.
The 2 Johnnies South Tipp Women's Mini Marathon 8km - Cahir, Saturday September 20th at 5pm.
Parkrun 5ks take place every Saturday at 9:30 am with locations Nationwide. Parkrun is a free 5k event hosted by volunteers every Saturday morning, in order to have your time recorded you must register online first at parkrun.ie and print off or download your barcode. Local Tipperary Parkruns include: Templemore, Fethard, Clonmel, Kockanacree Woods & Borrisokane Town. As the event is free it is welcomed to volunteer if you can every now and then.
