Seán Mockler is Tipp FMs Sports Person of the month for August:
The good news was announced live on Tipp Fms radio programme Extra Time last Monday September 1st Seán's achievement of winning an incredible 5 in a row of National hammer titles was recognized and chosen by the panel as the winner ahead of worthy contenders Pakie Mullins National Masters Handball champion, Sharlene Mawdsley Newport AC National 200m Champion, Max Fitzgerald Rockwell College Cycling, and Maeve Óg O’Leary Munster Women's Rugby, Congrats Seán. The awards ceremony in Association with the Talbot Hotel Clonmel and Quirke Trophies in Cahir will take place in early 2026 date to be announced.
Athletics Track Development Fundraiser Launch Night:

Juvenile Training is Back:
Juvenile Training has returned since September 2nd for the Cross Country Season. Our Training days are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm. At our club field in Littleton.Cost is €2 per session cash or card accepted, for more info contact our Juvenile Chairperson Sean Cummins on 0879788145.
Adult Fit 4 Life Training:
Training continues every Monday at our club grounds in Littleton from 7:15pm to 8pm New members welome all levels catered for, Training includes warm-up, drills, run off and on at different time zones, all carried out in an encouraging atmosphere.
Church Gate Collection:
Sincere Thanks to Everyone who kindly supported our Annual Church Gate Collections in Moycarkey, Two Mile Borris and Littleton last weekend , a total of €875 was donated, Go méadaí Dia thú.
Cellbridge AC 5k Road Race:
Well done to Denis O'Reilly who represented the club at the Cellbridge 5k race in Kildare on Thursday August 21st, running a good time of 21:01.
Cross Country Fixtures Announced:
The Tipperary Cross Country fixtures have been announced Starting with the County Novice and Juvenile Even Ages Cross Country Competition in Galbally on October 5th which will trial a new programme format for this race with the Adult races starting first with the Women's Race at 10am directly followed by the Mens race, The Juvenile races will start at 11:30am. This format will then be reviewed by the County Board about whether to adopt this to other competitions in the future. Moycarkey Coolcroo will be hosting the County Intermediate and Un-Even Ages XC in the Middlepiece, Turnpike - with Thanks to the Hayes Family on October 26th, The Munster Senior , U23 & Juvenile Un-Even Ages will also be at the Turnpike on November 2nd.
