Streets of Galway 8K

The Medtronic Streets of Galway 8K on 8 August 2026 is an annual 8km road race, organised by Galway City Harriers.
The race route starts at Fr Griffin Road and takes runners around Galway City, Salthill and the famous Claddagh to finish at South Park. Race HQ is the Claddagh Hall at Nimmos Pier.
Since its inception in 1986 the event has grown into one of the most prestigious road races in the country.
