Brand New Run With Pride 5K Lands In Belfast Next Month

Looking for a summer 5K in Belfast with a welcoming atmosphere and a traffic free course? The Rainbow Project's Run With Pride 2026 could be just the ticket.

Taking place on Sunday, July 19th, the event gets underway at 10:00am in Ormeau Park, one of Belfast's most popular running venues. Organisers are encouraging runners, joggers, walkers, first timers and seasoned club athletes alike to come along and kick off Belfast Pride Week in active fashion.

Hosted by The Rainbow Project and sponsored by The Maverick, the event aims to combine fitness, community spirit and inclusivity in a relaxed environment.

For those unfamiliar with the organisation, The Rainbow Project is a Northern Ireland charity that works to improve the health and wellbeing of LGBTQIA+ people and their families. Founded in 1994, it provides a range of support services including counselling, advocacy, community programmes and health initiatives across the region.
