2026 Amsterdam Marathon Opens for Entries Today

Registration for the 2026 TCS Amsterdam Marathon opens this morning at 11:00am Irish time, and demand is expected to be intense.
Anyone even half serious about running Amsterdam next year should be on the registration page the minute it opens. Entry numbers are capped across all distances and the full marathon, in particular, has a long track record of selling out quickly.
The race itself takes place on Sunday the 18th of October 2026, with the traditional Olympic Stadium finish once again providing one of the most recognisable end points in European marathon running.
Places are capped across all distances, with the following fees confirmed for 2026:
• TCS Amsterdam Marathon €145 (32,000 places)
• Mizuno Half Marathon €43.50 (15,000 places)
• 7.5K €23.50 (15,000 places)
Entry includes a personalised bib with timing chip, access to the official event app with live tracking, official results and a personal finisher certificate.
The course is fully closed and officially measured, with refreshment stations, medical support and on course entertainment throughout. Finishers receive a unique medal, while full marathon runners also get an official Mizuno race shirt.
Optional extras at registration include official race photos and video, medal engraving and magnetic BibBits race bib holders.
The Amsterdam Marathon has become one of the most popular autumn marathon choices for Irish runners, thanks to a fast course, straightforward travel and a city that actually knows how to host big events.
If it is on your radar for October 2026, the key detail is simple: registration opens at 11:00am Irish time today, and hesitation usually ends in disappointment.
Further details, including full terms and FAQs, are available via the official event website.
