How to Watch Day One of the National Senior Track & Field Championships

The first day of action of the Irish Senior Track and Field Championships gets underway at Morton Stadium today, with national titles on the line and several of Ireland's biggest names beginning their championship campaigns. Alongside the battle for medals, a number of athletes will also be chasing performances that could strengthen their hopes of earning selection for next month's European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.

The spotlight will be firmly on Rhasidat Adeleke, who returns for the women's 200m heats in what is her final opportunity to secure European Championship qualification. The day's programme also features Mark English and Cian McPhillips in the men's 800m heats, competitive men's and women's 1500m heats featuring many of Ireland's leading middle distance athletes, including the likes of Andrew Coscoran, Cathal Doyle, Sophie O'Sullivan and Laura Nicholson, while Sophie Becker and Seán Donoghue are among those set to begin their 400m campaigns.
